  • Credibility

Consumers interested in your business notice the difference between amateur and professional photography. Top notch photography keeps you competing with large online businesses. Inferior photos and images bounce visitors from your business and website to one with quality photos. Professional images also help with establishing your credibility by showing potential customers that you are willing to invest in your company’s image.

  • Exposure/Publicity/Awareness

Use your professional images to lure consumers in and keep them interested. Others, especially competitors, will notice your quality photos. Once noticed, people will ask you to share your images on social media, magazines, blogs and news articles. This generates free publicity, increased exposure and awareness.

  • Let Your Personality Shine

As it turns out a picture is not worth a thousand words, it’s worth so much more. A valuable photo helps depict you and your business. Potential clients investigate to see who they will be dealing with and you don’t want them to be disappointed. So what are you waiting for? Hire a photographer to take head shots of you and your staff today!

  • Readability

Photography is a great tool especially for websites. Readers can easily glance at a photo to gain information about the company, its products and its staff. Research has shown that individuals are drawn to images more than copy. Also, images and photos can clarify what the text is saying ensuring that provided information is easier to absorb for the consumer.

  • Conversion

You only have a few minutes in person or online to seal the deal. People are going to base their decisions in part on the quality of the images they see on your website, marketing materials and in your office. The higher the quality, the more likely you are to convert potential consumers to buyers or clients. Professional photos can provide accurate representations of your products and services which will foster confidence in potential clients.

Top Rental Places for Skiing and Snowboarding in Utah

canstockphoto15785659Winter in Utah means access to some of the best skiing and snowboarding anywhere on the planet. And you don’t have to be a lifelong winter sports enthusiast to get in on the action. Whether you’re new to the area, new to winter sports, or simply don’t like to travel with all of your gear—we’ve got the hookup you’re looking for to rent the equipment you need to hit the slopes.

Tips for Renting Ski and Snowboard Equipment

Renting equipment is a great option if you’re traveling or new to downhill winter sports. Fortunately, Utah has plenty of reputable places to find the gear you need for a great day enjoying the Greatest Snow of Earth. But before you get in line, here are a few tips that will ensure a quality ski rental experience.

  • Make sure the boot fits—One of the biggest mistakes people make when renting winter sports equipment is asking for the wrong size boot. Boots that are too big can lead to bruised toes and other injuries that may cut your fun short. Any responsible shop will take the time to measure you to guarantee the proper fit.
  • Be honest—You’ll have the best time if you’re skiing on a package that matches your physical needs and level of experience. Don’t worry about being a novice—when you ski or snowboard on the right setup you have a better chance of growing and improving. Be honest about your ability, weight, and age so the expert helping you can recommend the right equipment.
  • Take it slow—Many people are in a rush to pack in as much winter outdoor adventure as possible. This leads to impatience and sometimes rude behavior at the rental counter. Slow down and give yourself time to ensure the proper fit and level of equipment that you need. Rushing through the rental process can easily lead to frustration or even injury on the slopes. And if you’re polite and patient with the expert helping you, they’ll give you the best service they can, which equals a better day out in the powder.

Great Places to Rent Ski and Snowboard Equipment in Utah

Aloha Ski & Snowboard

When it comes to renting gear in Park City, Aloha’s eight locations can’t be beat. Not only do they have a Main Street storefront, but they also make ski and snowboard rentals easy at several local resorts—and be sure to ask abotu their ski valet service.

4 Tips to Sell Your House with a Busy Schedule

waiting-410328_640Life is hectic and summer can be the busiest time of year for many of us. Not only is it back-to-school time, you also could be juggling work, family, friends, some sort of social life and now selling a house. The best strategy to selling your house on top of everything else is to sell it as quickly as possible. Following are a few tips to get your home sold ASAP.

1: Price to sell
Did you know that overpricing your home even by the slightest margins can turn off home seekers and potential buyers? Naturally, you want to make as much money as possible and listing just below fair market value is a great tactic. Instead of turning off buyers you will encourage a bidding war.

2: Think quality and quantity
Regarding the listing photos, both lack of quality and limited quantity can hinder the selling process. Avoid fuzzy cell phone camera photos. Professional photos will make your home stand out to potential buyers. Your home will look like it belongs in a magazine! We’d be happy to recommend professionals for all of your photography needs.

3: Jazz up the curb appeal
You have only one chance to make a lasting first impression. You will have about 30 seconds to impress potential buyers as they walk up to your house. Your curb appeal and how your home looks on the outside will set the tone for the rest of the showing. And upping the ante doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg with this list of DIY projects under $100.

4: Clean, declutter and discard EVERYTHING
Almost nothing turns buyers off more than a messy and dirty house. Buyers believe that an unkempt house is a sign that the owners haven’t taken very good care of the home. Decluttering will make your rooms look larger and deep cleaning is sure to help you sell your home faster.

Above all else: Hire the right agent.

Staging Tips for a Fast Sale

Staging Tips for a Fast SaleDSC_3681 (1)

It’s no secret that staged homes sell faster and usually for a higher priced tag. In fact, a survey of realtors showed that staged homes sell for one to 10 percent more. Additionally, the average cost of staging a home is only $675. By following these five tips, you will get the highest return on your staging investment.

  1. Fresh paint

Updated paint breathes new life into your home. Apply a sparkling white to doors and trim to make your whole house look cleaner and more contemporary. New paint also helps in creating serene, luxurious spaces. Furthermore, pairing your wall and drapery colors will create the illusion of extra space. Remember this is not the time to go bold and experiment with funky colors. You will want to keep everything neutral and appealing.

  1. Awkward spaces

You can make the most of your awkward spaces by giving them a function. That spot under the stairs may have been the perfect catchall to hold all of your junk, but that won’t impress buyers. Take advantage of this little space and transform it into a reading nook or small office. Even a simple fix such as installing built-in shelving will put your home on potential buyers’ want list.

  1. Goodbye clutter

The most important aspect of getting your home ready to sell fast is clearing the clutter. Too much of anything will turn buyers off as they assume the home is lacking storage and are unable to envision living in the space. Make a new rule that for every new item coming into the home, an old must go. Another major contributor to a cluttered home is too big or too much furniture. Whisking away half of your furnishings will make your house look much bigger.

  1. Three’s company

Accessories coupled with the right mixing combinations make a space more inviting. Studies have shown that odd numbers are preferable when it comes to eye-pleasing accessorizing especially sets of three. This doesn’t always mean you can line three items in a row and have a win. You have to consider shape and scale. In some instances, it pays to picture a triangle and place an object at each point. Keep in mind that your groups of three also should vary in height and width.

  1. First impression

In order to sell your home as quickly as possible, you will need to build a lasting first impression. When successful, this memorable impression keeps your home top of mind and short lists for potential buyers. Use your open stairways and foyers to draw visitors up and into the home. Ditch the shabby apartment-grade window blinds. New window treatments provide an easy and inexpensive upgrade that drastically changes spaces.
